Musiclatte Privacy Policy

YoungWon Studio (“Company”) values your privacy and complies with applicable data protection laws. This policy applies to the Musiclatte application (“App”) provided by the Company.

1. Data We Directly Collect #

We do not directly collect any personal information through our App. The App does not require registration or login.

If you contact us via email for support, your email address may be collected and will be retained for up to 1 year after the inquiry is resolved.

2. Local Data Storage #

All app data — folder favorites, playback settings, cached audio files, and cached album artwork — is stored locally on your device. The Company has no access to this data.

Server credentials (URL, username, and password) are securely stored in the device’s Keychain and are never transmitted to any third party.

3. Server Connection #

Musiclatte connects to a Subsonic-compatible music server that you provide. The app communicates directly with your server to stream music, browse your library, and manage playlists.

  • Your server URL, username, and password are stored securely in the device’s Keychain.
  • All communication occurs directly between your device and your server. The Company does not relay, intercept, or have access to any of this traffic.
  • The Company does not operate any music servers. You are responsible for the security and availability of your own server.

4. Advertising #

Musiclatte does not display any advertisements. No advertising-related data is collected.

5. In-App Purchases #

The App offers optional tip jar purchases as a way to support development. These are processed through Apple’s In-App Purchase system. Payment information (credit cards, etc.) is handled by Apple, and we do not have access to your payment details. Tips do not unlock any additional features — all app features are available for free.

  • Local data: Deleting the App removes all locally stored data from your device.
